1. Check the authority's instructions
Before booking, read the instructions from the FBI, approved channeler, attorney or administration handling your file. They may specify the card format, number of cards and submission route.
2. Bring your ID and documents
Bring a passport or national identity card, any reference letter, and the FD-1164 card if it has already been provided to you.
3. Attend the fingerprint appointment in Paris
At Groupe AS Detectives, 111 rue de la Croix Nivert, Paris 15e, the appointment generally lasts about one hour. Fingerprints are taken with ink and prepared for your FBI background check file.
4. Send the file yourself
After the appointment, you send the card to the competent authority or channeler according to your own instructions. We do not replace the authority receiving your file.
